I first watched this documentary just before the 2012
elections, I was already against the re election of Obama so I sat and agreed
to just about everything it had to say.
Yesterday I took the video off the shelf and watched it again with some
friends that had never viewed it. Wow
it's amazing how accurate D'Souza's predictions are. I think the more times you see this the more
you pick up from his history. This is
the perfect time to view this film and to spread it around before the midterm
elections. This is not a gotcha
documentary on Obama it simply tells where his head is and why he does the
things he does. The film is available at
Amazon and it will be the best $12 you could spend. Do it for yourself, do it for our country but
most of all watch it for you kids. These
mid terms of 2014 will be some of the most important elections in our
history. It will decide where America will
be for the next generation and beyond.

America first
Your loyalty
should be to America:
What do you
as a voter consider when you pick a candidate either for President of the
United States or any other representative?
Are you so party oriented that it doesn’t matter what your candidate
does or says, or are you so party oriented that you have already voted in your
mind and nothing could change your opinion?
I believe this is what has happened in America. We have become so divided that our flag, our
credo or our rights mean nothing to so many.
They have been so brainwashed that it will take a major catastrophe to
change them back to believe in America first.
Whether it be the Unions, either party or right or left it’s all the
same. We need to come together if we
want to bring this country back to the greatness that our fathers and
grandfathers left us in charge of. I
know I will get chastised by the far right and the far left for my opinions but
it’s time they both understood one thing; the majority in this country resides
near center, it always has and always will, and until we make the effort to
meet in that middle ground we will have turmoil and chaos in our politics. Dividing us into castes as many politicians
and organizations have attempted to do will lead to anarchy and be the demise
of the United States of
America. Did you hear the words, The United States of America? The old adage of divide and conquer has been used
over the decades by our political parties and some people seem to have
forgotten the principle of America first.
It’s not a
mystery that every candidate always has edged to the middle before an election,
even Obama played the middle of the road card in his 2008 campaign and then
veered hard to the left during his first term.
We the middle class of this country believe in the following:
1.
We believe man is responsible for his own
actions and deeds and should pay the piper for his misdeeds.
2.
Welfare is meant to be a boost up when catastrophe
hits not a full time occupation capturing generation after generation in its
clutches.
3.
We believe in the free enterprise system
(capitalism) allowing a person the freedom to a build a legal business with the
least amount of interference from government.
This is the greatest of all job creators, small business. People who
take risks to build industry should not be unduly punished by burdensome fee's
and regulations.
4.
We
believe in a fair tax system that everyone pays into based on their ability to
earn. Penalizing the job creators only
penalizes the job seeker. When a tax collection
agency becomes partisan it needs to be replaced with a fair tax that does not
punish the achievers.
5.
We
believe in tort reform to eliminate the frivolous lawsuits that tie up our
court system and put the burden of paying higher prices for most items on the
back of the consumers. Our entire
medical system problems could have been cured by this move along with allowing
insurance companies to compete across State lines.
6.
We
believe that every ad produced by politicians must stand the burden of
proof. False claims proven lies or
twisted truths must be eliminated or the candidate must be totally liable for
damages including impeachment.
7.
We
believe that the so called super pacts must submit all ad’s to the candidate or
political party for approval making the candidate or party responsible for the
content.
8.
We
believe all funds from unions and non-profit organizations must be held to a secret
vote of the membership prior to disbursement to a candidate or political party and
these funds must be divided according to membership votes. (60/40) etc.
9. We believe in legal immigration,
without immigration we will lose our diversity and wither and die as a country. To attain this we must close our borders at
all cost and deport any who break or have broken our laws with criminal intent,
gang membership etc. We believe that we can solve the problem with
those who are already here in this country who have not broken additional laws but
they must not be a burden on our Social Security System or our medical system
and not be allowed to participate in the politics of America for a period of 10
years or until they are confirmed citizens of the United States. We also believe in positive identification must
be provided at the polls.
10.
We believe that the government cannot support a nationalized healthcare yet we
can support a special insurance fund for those who cannot obtain healthcare due
to existing health problems. Fraud in
this area should be dealt with severely and harshly. This should be considered a capital crime.
11.
We believe in a commonsense approach to
regulation vs personal freedoms, the Constitution is our guide and its basics
are not to be interpreted in or for political gain. Judges who legislate from
the bench should be impeached and replaced by the electoral process.
We are
Americans first and foremost and we will be heard. The old term of the Silent Majority is passé,
and we don’t intend to be silent any longer. No politician, no union, no party will decide
our vote nor our fate.

Will our grandchildren know our freedoms?
Being an old codger I find myself constantly thinking back
to my youth and the way I remember things from history. I wonder now that the Progressives have taken
over our schools and universities and practically turned us into part of the
European Union what our children and grand children will really know of the
great history that is the basis for our development as a people and a
country. Will they understand the
freedom that our grandfathers sought by coming to America? Will they even know what an entrepreneurial society
it took to build this great country?
Every day I see us slipping farther and farther away from what I
remember as America. I hear people talk
about deserving government aid because that’s their right. By design we are not a Democracy, we are a Democratic
Republic that is something our forefathers made sure of when they crafted the
Constitution. The problem with a Democratic
Republic is that a cunning minority can control the people. That’s exactly what’s happened to the United
States, over the years the Progressive movement has taken over both political parties. The Democrats have gone from being the Truman
conservatives of the 40’s & 50’s to the liberals of today and the Republicans
are slowly splitting into two factions, the conservative and the liberal. This leaves only the Progressive Liberals in
total control. For decades here in
America we had been raised to be what our fathers were. If dad was a Democrat by God I am too. If he was a Republican so are we. During the decade of the 60’s a change came
about in the world, the hippy culture was born.
Son’s and daughters defied mom and dad and found the easy life of the
commune where they could make up the rules as they went. They were mesmerized by the new found freedom. Thank God a few grew up and realized that it
was a lot more gratifying to earn a living and support themselves than to sit
in airports and train stations and beg for food.
The problem is that places like The University of California
at Berkley existed where far left professors molded the minds of many who grew
from hippy to collegiate into progressive zombies. These are many of our leaders today in
power. Those who grew from hippy to
worker are now realizing that we are paying for this experiment in the socialist
utopia we now call America. This
situation was predicted back in 1777 by a Scottish professor who said that once
the population discovers that they can vote themselves free money from the
treasury the country will bankrupt and disappear.
If you went to every home in the country and asked the
following questions I think you would find that even though they don’t realize
it there are more conservatives than liberals:
Questions;
Questions;
1. 1. Do you think the government should take up to
half of what you earn to support those who do not want to work?
2. 2. Do you feel the government has the right to
decide whether you have a needed operation or not depending on your health
record and your age.
3. 3. Are you for or against open borders here in the
United States or should we have controlled immigration as we have in the past?
4. 4. Do you believe that marriage is sacred and
between a man and a woman or should anyone be allowed to marry whomever they
want including polygamy that’s coming next?
5. 5. Do you believe anyone has the right to kill a 3rd
trimester baby that is perfectly capable of surviving on it’s own or should the
right to abort end at the 1st trimester of pregnancy?
Why are we allowing this minority to dominate our lives and
destroy our beautiful way of life?

Where do we find the next Superman?
Where do we find Superman?
Our next president is going to be the most important person we have ever
elected. The Country is in shambles
compared to the recovery of the 80’s.
For some reason our present administration seems to think that by
constantly adding to the free services of the government they will somehow pull
this country out of its doldrums.
Americans are a special breed they thrive on self achievement and hate
to be force fed. Americans are the
result of many things none of which involved government welfare. Americans came from many countries and melded
their traditions and talents into one great society. They suffered through two World Wars, Korea
and Vietnam as well as Afghanistan, Iraq and now Afghanistan again. The 1st & 2nd
generation of most American families worked their way through the Great
Depression with an I will survive attitude and they did it without help from
any safety net. They subsequently came
out of this with an I can do whatever it takes to feed and clothe my family
attitude. Sorry to say most of this
generation has passed on and left us with a generation that has been coddled
and cared for their whole lives. How can
we expect this generation to rebuild America into a World Power again when all
they seem to want is more government services?
Thank God there are still some good families who taught their
children right from wrong and instilled pride in self accomplishment. These are going to have to be our new leaders
as this country can’t take more of the same socialist theories of cradle to the
grave care. We have gone from the shining
light on the hill for all others to desire and dream of to the Soup Kitchen
mentality of whose bringing me my next meal.
The men and women who built America built it upon a dream of freedom and
free enterprise. No one gave them a
stimulus to start out with the exception of real opportunity and the freedom to
go forth and succeed. As the years have
gone by the one thing that our Fore Fathers worried about has come to be and
that is excessive power in government. The
entrepreneur is now throttled with over
regulation, over taxation and fee’s that would choke the old timers to
death. Small business is barely hanging
on now we are taxing their last bit of strength with Obama Care. 70% of Americans are employed by what is considered
small business. These businesses are run
by families who legitimately care for their employees and during these times many
go without profit just to keep their employee’s working, just hoping that by
some miracle it will all turn around again.
I remember when Romney said in a closed meeting that 47% of
the people will never vote for him because they are addicted to subsidies and
government handouts. You know what he
was right, about 47% of the people are receiving government monies or they are
working because of the massive expansion of government. Those
of us who still pay our own way are also paying the way for those who have
fallen into this abyss. As our numbers grow fewer our percentage of
participation will have to go up in order to support this massive exodus from
the workforce the only way this type of government can survive is with total
control of your lives, from what you eat to the type of work you will be
expected to perform to help the State support you. We all know how well Eastern Bloc countries
did with this form of government.
Like I said where will we find Superman? Someone from our midst must step out and lead
this country back to its basics and relight the fires of self determination
that we were all born with. Beware of
the charlatans that make promises that are too good to be true. We need to find someone with a proven track
record of achievement who is capable of leading not another Hope and Change narcissist
who can only campaign not lead. Gee, didn’t we have that available in the last election?

Happy Birthday President Reagan
To me this is a very important day in American history. For a brief period in this country we had a
leader that was not only a true patriot but out of the entire world he was the
most respected American President in our modern history. Some will say it was out of fear that many
world leaders came to his side but I say the only fear came from those who
opposed freedom. Ronald Reagan would be
102 today and had he lived with a clear mind would still be the one man that
could make sense out of what is happening to our country. Happy Birthday President Reagan, I sincerely
hope your reward in heaven is a great one.
You gave America dignity and hope along with great prosperity, God Bless
You.

A message for SeaHawk fans
I know my audience with this blog is limited but together we
can make this viral. Being a Seattle
SeaHawk fan I wagered a little on the game.
Not being a gambler it was just $100 that paid $215. I propose that all those Seattle fans who won
on the game take a portion of their windfall and donate it to the Shriner’s
Hostpital for Children. Let’s show how
generous Seattle fans are. Just let the charity know that this is from
your winnings. Tell them Go Hawks! I hope that the Shriner's will let us know how much we can raise. I’m pledging ½ my winnings. Now do your part and forward this to as many
as possible and see if the SeaHawk fans are as good a bunch of Americans as I
think they are.
PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING

How did we get here?
How did we get here?
In the Revolutionary War Nathan Hale said "give me liberty or give
me death". In the Civil War brother
against brother fought either to free the Slaves or for States rights depending
on what side you were on. In WWI and WWII we fought to rid the world of
dictators and madmen who wanted to control Europe and beyond. Today we are fighting for our own salvation
against radical religious zealots who want to control the world and bring it back
to the mid-evil period.
I bring these things up because I ask the question; why
would we choose now to decrease our military? Why would we now decide to capitulate our
gains in Afghanistan and Iraq and allow these murderers a chance to rebuild
their forces. Americans are being
misunderstood when it comes to war. We
have the technology to win in the Middle East we just don't have the leadership
that has confidence in our abilities.
Yes we are tired of war but mainly we are tired of losing when we are
forced to play under rules of engagement that favor the bad guys. Our fighting men should never be put under
the control of nations other than our own. War is an evil thing brought on by evil
malicious people. The war we are in now
is the oldest war in recorded history and started around 1096. We cannot win this war by isolating ourselves
and pretending 9/11 can't happen again.
We have to be proactive in our approach and keep these animals locked
up. We are constantly warned about
collateral damage to civilian areas yet those civilians house and hide our
enemy. In some cases we are not allowed
to return fire in a residential district as to avoid so called civilian
casualties. This method of operation has
caused many casualties on our side.
I believe we should pull all of our troops out of the area
if we don't intend to win. The NSA that
has been so great in watching Americans and our closest allies should aim their
focus on the Middle East together with 24 hour surveillance by armed drones we
can cause enough chaos in the region that the so called civilians will force
the insurgents out. Never again should
we allow anyone to send our troops into harm's way without giving them the
Rules of Engagement that will allow them to protect themselves and with a plan for
total victory. A war cannot be fought in
the polls, when a politician decides a war is over the outcome usually is in
question. Take a look at Korea for
example, a political war that has never ended except for the brave men and
women who gave their lives.

Immigration reform
Let’s try to tackle Immigration. First of all we have certain laws that
already deal with most immigration problems.
The idea that we need comprehensive reform is strictly a political response
to a problem that does need attention but can be solved with commonsense. We are the only country in the world that
doesn’t strictly defend our borders. Get
caught crossing into any other country and you’ll be treated very badly, you
won’t be given free food and housing and free medical. You may need medical attention by the time
you are reunited with your home country.
If you have been here because of the lack of border security for the
last 10 years and have stayed out of trouble, you probably deserve an
opportunity to earn the right to stay here.
You don’t automatically deserve the right to vote or the right to
benefits from the government. There are
opportunities like enlisting in the military to gain citizenship but demanding
citizenship just because you have been here is not going to fly with most
Americans. Being an American is more
than anything a piece of paper can make you.
First most Americans are 2nd and 3rd generation
immigrants, we are not saying we got ours and we don’t want anyone else to have
the opportunity. We are saying our
parents and grandparents came here legally and fought through the red tape and
the bigotry they encountered without benefit of welfare or any other free
programs. They came here and became part
of the fabric of this country. They
weren’t here just to take advantage of the system and then go home.
Americanism is a way of life and we don’t take our freedom
lightly. It is the result of millions of
our brethren who gave the ultimate sacrifice by protecting those rights. It’s the result of commonsense laws that have
been in effect for generations, many ignored in recent years that have led to
this problem. It’s the result of a
patriotism that is part of our lives.
When we see people tearing down our flag and putting up a foreign flag
like happened a few years ago in California we are infuriated. When we see masses of illegal’s jamming our
Emergency Hospitals ruining the best medical system in the world we are not
going to turn the other cheek. When we
see Billions of additional dollars being spent to print all of our laws in many
languages, naturally it gets under our skin.
When our relatives came to America they had to learn our countries
history, language and to show they could support themselves. They found tough going, many were treated
badly because of their heritage and their different traditions but they stood
together and fought for their rights.
They became part of this fabric we call Americanism.
As you see here in the United States we all don’t always
agree, we each in our own way fight for what we think is right and eventually
we come together as one. When I see
those who flee their own country I wonder why instead of fleeing why they don’t
work to create their own democracy in their own country. When our country was born it was a small
group of people who came together to battle the British for our freedom. The war was terribly one sided and our army
was nothing more than a tattered bunch of farmers who felt freedom was worth more
than their individual lives. A
government is nothing more than its people and when the people rise up and say
enough either the government listens or it falls. Here in America it’s done by voting and that
is why we are so adamant about our citizenship.
Giving one the vote who doesn’t know or understand what America stands
for is giving away everything this country has built.

If I could give the peoples response to the State of the Union;
If I could give the peoples response to the State of the
Union;
I come before this august body with a heavy heart. We are on the cusp of a great change in America,
one that will have a lasting effect on our children and on those who come after
them. We the American people have lost
the will to be the leader of the free world.
We have become a pawn of the United Nations rather than the leader of
nations. We find ourselves floundering in the wake of those countries that
would do us harm. The spirited soul of
America has become the dim light of socialism.
This only took a few years to accomplish but should not be much of a
surprise to those who stood by and watched it happen. The people of the United States found that
they could fill their life's needs through the coffers of the treasury and at
this point over 50% are on some type of benefit program that they selfishly
call an entitlement. I'm not speaking of
the Social Security or Medicare programs as these were paid for by those who
receive their benefit. I refer to the expanded welfare programs that have become a
replacement for work for many.
Generations of family's find
comfort in their benefits at the expense of the working class, a class however that
is shrinking substantially by the day.
No one I know begrudges giving a family in need a hand up as the welfare
program was intended to do. But now we
have a zillion other agencies who give away our money daily to those who have
no desire to join the workforce. Free
Housing for life, free cash, free phones, free food, free clothing, free
education, free medical just to name a few.
These freebies add up to more than I make in a year yet I have to pay
for them and still support my own family.
The graft and corruption that has been allowed to permeate these
programs has added a stench of death to our great country.
How can this be fixed; It does little good to talk about all
our woes without offering a fix for the long term. First before we can fix a problem we have to
understand it's cause. America is not
just a country, we'll use the name the United States for that. America is a way of life that has been
developed over generations. Americans
rallied to the cause in WWII, we built an industrial complex that dominated the
world. We offered our lives to the
people of Europe and the South Pacific.
We didn't ask for anything in return other than their loyalty and
friendship. Very few waited for the
draft to call their number, most stood in long lines at the various recruiting
stations. We were the shining beacon on
the mountain of freedom for the world.
When Korea came along two things were very different, we knew we were
fighting a political ideology for a divided country. Few knew anything about the Korean Peninsula
and even less about the political ramifications of communism. Fathers who had returned from WWII had little
desire to see their sons and daughters become involved with this police action
and the press was extremely adversary to the war. Thus the birth of the anti war movement that
became the Hippy culture, that has evolved into the liberal society we find
running the country today. Viet Nam replicated
the same type of political involvement as Korea and only built a bigger wall
between the youth and the establishment.
Our politics and our patriotism changed rapidly, it was no longer
considered an honor the serve by the youth of the 60's they openly defied the
government which led to many confrontations in the streets of the United
States. These kids were taught that Americans were imperialistic and drained
other countries of the wealth. The young
hippies were now being taught by the past generation who started the anti war
movement and the drug culture that went with the lack of parental guidance that
accompanied the movement. Parenting as
it was known in the world prior to the 60's was nowhere to be found, parents
who cared found themselves faced with the Dr. Spock culture that destroyed any
thought of disciplinary action and in fact passed laws against physical
discipline even by parents.
How do we get back to the American way of life? How do we instill pride in our country when
our teachers and professors are brainwashing our kids with Anti Americanism and
a liberal slant on the world?
The United States has been attacked from inside by well
place moles whose only job in life is to keep the fires of Socialism burning in
the hearts of our youth. They have done
this quietly over the years by using the education system to infiltrate the
American way of life through the children of America. They have lied, cheated and coerced their way
into the politics of America to ensure their future. They have taught Americans to expect their
government to provide everything and have done so using our money to bribe the
population into submission.
The answer lies in the money, the government has no money of
its own and must rely on we the people for its cash. Cut off the money and you destroy the fuel of
socialism. This November we have what is
called a midterm election and it can be the start of the recovery. We can elect an entirely new group that has
the moral character to stand firm and be resolute in their beliefs. We can work together to shrink the size of
government and bring back industry to American workers. We can quit buying those things that are made
in China and other adversary nations and replace them with ours and other
friendly nations products. We can reinstate the draft not for just
military but to spend 2 years working to help those in need in our own county. Like a Peace Core but at home in poverty
areas. Some can be teachers through a
mentoring program for slower students others may intern in government and other
industries that are growing rapidly in the new economy. Where else can we expect our future leaders to
come from? Lets give these new leaders a chance to live and understand what the
American Dream and the American way of life is all about. If we fail they will fall farther into the dark
hole of socialism expecting all things to be provided.

Will America survive?
Why is it that so many of those who consider themselves
Liberals attack those who they disagree with foul and obtrusive language. Do they think we will be shocked and back off
our beliefs? Some are so rooted into
their philosophy that they actually believe the proven lies that have come from
the Obama Administration. All the
language and attitude does is show their contempt for all that is America. When a person resorts to shock language and
tries to belittle those who think opposite, all they are doing is showing their
inability to legitimately debate their cause.
I have never backed down from a legitimate debate but when
the opposition resorts to foul and abusive language I feel they are not worth
my efforts. After all a debate is
generally to try to sway a person to your way of thinking and when the
opposition has no real basis for a position and is just spouting rhetoric it
makes debate useless. The real shame
comes from the misplaced trust that is being perpetrated by the Democratic
Party on those who have been loyal for decades.
I have a lot of friends who are Democrats but none that I know of are
Socialists. They have been and probably
will be Democrats for life not realizing what their party has in reality become. Being
an Independent I will always vote for the person that I feel is the best for
our City, State, County or Country. Both
party’s have become ideological icons only interested in power. I will admit that I generally find that I
lean more to the Republican side due to the Conservative nature of my
feelings.
Don’t believe the story that we are so far apart that our
country will never be the same. I talk
to Dems and Reps every day and in total we are not that far apart, it’s the
leadership that is holding this country back not the people.
Saturday, January 25, 2014
Why can't Conservative learn the art of politics?
Here we go again, when will our people learn the art of
politics. Now I consider myself a Conservative
but I find all this rhetoric against the so called Rino’s disturbing. All we need to do is temper it down and win
an election for a change and then clean out the trash. All we have been doing is putting targets on
the people that we need on our side to win.
Romney for example wasn’t the Conservative we wanted but by not voting
for him we got 4 more years of socialism, happy about that? Had we come together without all the
infighting we could have won the Senate and cleaned house on Obama Care.
How do you think the Progressive’s attained
power? They started by taking over our schools and brain washing commonsense
out of our educational system. They
infiltrated the local politics and gerrymandered the election boundaries to
guaranty their victory. They pretended
to be middle of the road Americans lying to the uninformed masses until it was
too late. We can continue to eat our
young and kill our chances for a better future or we can learn from our last
mistakes and out progress the progressives.
Mainstream America does not want Socialism problem is that they fail to recognize it
when they see it. Our system has generally been life to death Democrat or life to death Republican. It’s not like that anymore and we have to
understand that the party’s are not what they were. We as Conservatives are not going win by
destroying those closest to our way of thinking and allowing those who are
opposite of our beliefs to continue to be victorious, our country can’t stand another
defeat of commonsense. What would a
Hillary Administration be capable of doing to way of life. Are you willing to risk that?

Thank God for Obama
Thank God for Obama, just think when the Conservatives take
over they can now use the entire power grab that Obama has been accumulating
over the last few years. What’s good for
the Goose is good for the Gander. Using
executive privilege to pass whatever he wants, to appoint judges with only a
51% vote in the Senate. Wow this is
going to be fun especially the down grading of Obama Care.
We Conservatives have to understand that to get elected we
have to shade the truth just like the Liberals have. Obama ran to the middle of the road until he
was elected the first time and then we acted like little children in 2012,
stamped our feet and stayed home from the polls because the Republican nominee
wasn’t conservative enough in the second election. It’s time to grow up and play the same game to
take over the Congressional and Executive branches of government. We spend our time self destructing fighting
each other decimating the party. All I
hear is the mainstream republicans hate the Tea Party and vice a versa. Each community, each State, each District is
supposed to elect the candidate that they feel will do the best job for their constituency. Forget national politics for now and get back
to the grassroots where your vote counts.
If we don’t get back control our country in the 2016 midterms we will be
beyond help. Get involved or give up on
all America has stood for, it’s up to you.
Don’t you think we would be living a lot better had we elected a Romney
administration than we are now, haven’t you had enough yet? I don’t expect who ever we elect as the next
President is going to be able to turn this titanic around without help from a
friendly Congress and Senate. It’s
important we work to put them in during the Midterm elections to avoid any more
of this slide to Socialism.
2016 has got to be the beginning of the change. Another term with Obama with Reid in control
of the Senate will do tremendous harm.
If we can gain control of the Senate we can stifle his ability to
continue to tear down our American way of life.
Start by electing local politicians who have your values, so much of
local politics is carried on through the Good Ole Boy syndrome instead of who
will be the fighter to take on Washington’s overstepping of our rights. Good government at home spreads the word and
will grow and spawn new leaders for our future.
It’s time to reach out and find
the new Reagan, he’s or she is out there waiting to be discovered. God Bless America.
