Enough Kaepernick, in my mind he's a slime and not worth talking about anymore. I don't care what your feeling are about his non stance but I've heard enough about the bunch he is supporting. I appreciate the police but if I saw an injustice I would bring it to the front. The police are not infallible they have personalities like everyone else, some good traits some bad. So far all the big so called injustice has been Hands up don't shoot (which was proven a lie) which hurts their cause and rather than complying with a direct order not to resist they caused a fight which causes the adrenalin to increase and testosterone takes over the brain for both the policeman and the perpetrators. When you have the majority of the murders being committed by blacks on blacks like in Chicago it seems a little ridiculous to go after the 1% of cops that shouldn't be cops. I blame their own departments for not culling them out of the force. The guys on the street walking a beat know who the bad cops are and because they fail to bring charges against them all cops are blamed. But to get behind a bunch of thugs who think they can dictate our laws through anarchy and violence is a huge mistake. Not being a black man I cannot speak to the fear of the police that seems to be so prevalent in the community but as a citizen of the greatest country in the world I have to support law and order, without it we will become a ruined society for sure.
I think a great idea would be to have each of the supporters of the BLM movement go through the field test at the local police academies. The one where you have to make split second decisions on how to react. These should be filmed and studied. When you have to decide am I going to let this person kill me or do I shoot him or her in that split second. Maybe from that we could get a dialog to go forward and develop and attitude supporting compliance rather than defiance. Everyone should be able to make it home at the end of the day, both the police and the man on the street. ALL LIVES MATTER!
