               My thoughts for Putin and Trump;

               Do either of you want War and mutual destruction?  There is a right and wrong, you both know what it is and understand it's principles.  We can flex our muscles all day and just get bolder and bolder like an druggy high on Meth,  in the end it's the people of the United Stated and the people of Russia who will suffer.  It's possible for both countries to be strong without adversity caused by egotism .  Life could be beautiful by working for a common cause, each of our peoples would gain as compatriots through trade and joint ventures.  Together we could end strife and hunger across the world.  Who would oppose us as a team of combined good?  Ego's are an evil part of humanity, confidence is okay with humility, trust is best when verified and openness is the path to trust.

Our depreciating rights

As I watch American children being used as pawns in the gun debate it comes to me that it’s our own fault, we have allowed the education industry to evolve  farther and farther left.  From High School Teachers to College Professors we seem to have so few non progressive’s teaching our kids.  Money from George Soros and his ilk has been used to stir up and fund the protests regarding the shooting in Parkland Florida.  The kids are being told they are exercising their right of free speech not totally understanding that they are playing into the hands of those who would take away those very rights if allowed.  Try to attend a conservative rally in California or wear a pro Trump shirt or an NRA shirt to school and check out the reaction.  No problem if you want to wear a Che Chevara or Malcolm X shirt.  Guns are just the topic of the day, a useful tool to get the necessary reaction.  I have no problem with enhanced background checks or the banning of accessories that make guns fully automatic.  When we want to protect the politicians we do so with armed guards yet we when we make the suggestion of armed individuals fully trained in schools we are greeted with jeers.  The same people who ordered that all schools must have Transgender toilets are using the  same logic about guns.  Fear creates the most primal reaction in human beings and when used to excite protest especially among children they can be very effectively used.  The United States has survived 2 world Wars, Korea, Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq, why? Because we have freedom on our side, thank God our Fore Fathers had the foresight to create a Constitution that has been able to see into the future and protect all of our rights.  This same Constitution is being assailed as outdated and changeable at the whim of a few politicians and a sect of Academics’ who think their view of the world is the only one that counts.

We are very fortunate that in our area the teachers I’ve talked to have mostly been brought up by strong rural values and teach the Constitution as it was written understanding the rights that America was born with.  God, please Bless America and keep her true to the values she was created with.

The poisoning of our society

As I hear about terrible things that are happening to our society like the Parkland shooting, Las Vegas and the Church in Southland Texas I find myself puzzled by the lack of what I consider the understanding of people as to the real cause.  I must first say I have been a gun owner all my life.   I’ve hunted the Mountains of Washington State, The Olympic Peninsula and many other areas around Western and Eastern Washington.  I was issued a 45 in the service and carried it on my hip for several years and In all the years of owning a gun I have never felt the need to go out and commit mass murder.  A gun is a tool, when used properly it can feed  you and your family, when used properly it can defend you and your family and when it has been cleaned oiled and put away safe it will do no harm to you and your family.  My consternation comes when I hear what we are teaching our children through their music, games and movies about life.  Music that demeans & condones violence against women, music that calls for death to Police Officers, music that glorifies drugs & getting high and the very disturbing music that attempts to drive a wedge between the races.   The violence in many games and movies create an indifference to death.  It’s easy to kill in a realistic game with the push of a button with no consequences or negative feelings for the act.  It can become second nature to someone who may have a weakened personality disorder.

We complain about the quality of our schools yet we cripple them with politically correct policies that breed weakness in the system.  Many of our teachers are giving up trying to maintain discipline as their hollow threats fall on deaf ears.  I believe the problem began when our society decided parents needed to be friends of our children rather than parents.  The death of our heritage began with the teachings of Dr. Spock the well meaning idiot that told us capitol punishment (Spanking) for our children was cruel and destroyed their Self Esteem.  Now I’m not talking about beating a child to death but I never felt my self esteem damage when I did wrong and was punished with my dad’s razor strop.  Sure it hurt and even may have left a welt on my butt, but I always knew why I was getting it and tried hard not to repeat the same mistake again.  Our personal history or rather personality is really decided in our formative years the very years we are allowing our children to be manipulated by the purveyors of the crap we call entertainment today.    Kids need to learn to interact with others and play outside in the fresh air yet we watch as they sit for hours staring at their phones playing who knows what breathing the same stale air honing their skills at who knows what.  No, these killings are not caused by the AR-15 it’s a form of mind poisoning that leads to this behavior.  A kid out hunting and target shooting with his Mother or Father is not the one to worry about.  The kid who has never learned how to deal with and live in our society because they were allowed to withdraw from healthy activities & interactions with their peers are the ones to watch for.

How have things changed

         As this winter storm grips the nation in ice and snow it makes it harder and harder for the leaders to sell us on this Global Warming lie. This earth has had climate change since its inception and always will. We’ve had how many Atomic Tests in Nevada, Bikini and of course the two bombs on Japan in WWII. If anything could or would change cause our climate to change these would. We’ve also had numerous eruptions from various mountains in the world during the last 50 years. These eruptions put out more gases and pollutants then all the cars on this earth. As I have said many times, the area I live in that is now covered in desert sage and snow was once a lush semi tropical series of lakes and inland sea’s. You can dig up the evidence with your own hands, this is not just some ones theory. For us to be forced into this giant conspiracy that will cost us a fortune is no different than the piracy that is going on in Somalia.


We see the quality of our leadership in Washington, they have to resort to bribery and coercion to get their bills past. When we the people elect someone to the House or Senate it is to be a reflection of the community that elected them. You wouldn’t send a known liar to represent you yet that’s what they have become.   How is it a good thing to sell your influence for money even if it’s for your State? Someone has to pay for this bribery and that someone is the American people. The Congress has failed to realize that they have no money, their money is out of our pockets yet they throw it around like a bunch of drunks at a strip club. First it was Millions and now they speak of Trillions as if it’s coffee or lunch money.

The Cap and Trade Bill and the monstrous Healthcare Bill & Global Warming pact, is all just the beginning, why stop there. The progressives think that all you have to do is to print more money to pay for it. We all want to breath clean air, that’s a given and we all want the best Healthcare we can afford. Like everything Washington gets their hands on it grows with their need to expand their political power. Republican or Democrat it doesn’t matter, if you give government the chance to grow itself, it will. The Progressive agenda of all things to all people is more dangerous than ever before, because many of these people who are running things are not just liberal Progressives, they’re Socialists, Communists and anti-capitalists with only one agenda in mind, to become a know all do all government. They believe that they need to take care of the people because they know best what is right. The concept of a representative government by the people and for the people is foreign to them. You who sit back and scoff at this change will end up paying the same price as I do, but at least I see it coming. Being blind to the actions of a government is the same scenario as the Russians went through in 1917 and the Germans in the late 30’s. Do you think that one day they all sat down and decided to give up their personal rights to the State? Of course not, they eroded them away just as we are doing right now.

There is an old saying out here in the West; “The bigger the hat the smaller the herd.” We have a bunch of big hats in Washington who need to have a reality check and real soon, or you are going to have to give them a bigger portion of your herd just to exist.

        I wrote this blog in December of 2009 and it is so indicative of why the election of 2016 went the way it did.  We still have many of the same elites in charge in the two parties and it spite of this the President has been able to get a large part of his agenda moving.  The left is missing the boat as this President is a negotiator and is willing to work to solve problems yet there is such a void in leadership in the resist movement of the Democratic party that it has been all one sided.  This country needs input from all sides to be whole.  The spirit of the United States is a conglomerate of all people, not rich, not poor but everyone.  Our representation has been nonexistent, it has been corrupted by politics  and poor leadership.  You may not like our Presidents personality or his demeanor but give him credit for his ability to get things done to move our country back to the commonsense approach rather than bogging us down with more political correctness ideology. Get the Muellar investigation over with and allow our country to go forward.       

         

 

              As far as the media is concerned I think of the great newsmen and women of the 40's and 50's they didn't allow their personal bias to even trickle into their reporting.  The Despots of today are doing everything in their power to destroy not only the man himself but the very office of the Presidency.  They have no concept of the Revolution and its consequences should they succeed. Should they create a Constitutional Crisis the result would be catastrophic for America and weaken her beyond repair.  Think about our next generation and what they will face should we allow this to continue even consider a breakup of the States and the resulting chaos.  Let actions speak louder than words, allow the Administration to do their job and in the end see if we are better off or we need to make a change. God Bless America and all those who love her.   

 

Just keeping things straight

                              Let me get this straight, for years the ladies of Hollywood and the Progressive Left have advocated for everything from free love to see thru dresses on the red carpet.  They told stories like truck drivers leaving nothing for the imagination and now I cannot tell a woman at work that see looks great today.  A misplaced word can cause a man his job, his family and his total reputation just on the word of a single woman.  I think people like Harvey Weinstein are despicable and should be in prison but this new movement is going to cause problems way beyond the bad timing of a joke or good natured flirt in the work place.  Men are going o be afraid to hire women for the fear of unwarranted harassment charges.  There are bad women as well as men just check out the prisons and it is relatively easy to claim false charges as a method of filing a claim for damages.  The penalty for filing falsely should be as great as the crime itself.  Though just  like charging harassment is hard to prove so are claims of false charges.  Problem is the harassment charges don't seem to need proof  just the claim. Once again Commonsense has been replaced with Political Correctness and this time it will have real consequences.

December 7th

Every year on December 7th we come together to remember the day that our world changed forever. The lessons we learned that day changed the character of our nation. The men and women who died at Pearl Harbor became a rallying cry across America and the people responded by filling the recruitment centers all over the land. Democrats and Republicans, people of all nationalities and color stood shoulder to shoulder to defeat our enemies in the Pacific and in Europe. Today the battles we fight are mostly internal, Americans divided not by war but by politics and in some cases race. I’m not forgetting the war on terror going on all over the World but it is the battle to change the very character of America that has us so divided. We all are ready willing and able to take on the Evil of Terrorism yet we can’t work together to build a stronger nation for the people. As Americans our Constitution dictates our laws and has done a wonderful job for the last 242 years yet we have people on all sides who try to circumvent the Constitution for the sake of political gain. It’s time to wake up my friends and start using commonsense instead of political correctness to solve our dilemma's and heal our differences.

The Injustice of Justice

My heart goes out to the Steinle family tonight.  Their daughter Kate died cruelly in her fathers arms the result of stupid man with a gun.  In San Francisco a jury has acquitted the illegal alien who fired that gun carelessly on a pier, as Kate and her father walked happily enjoying a beautiful San Francisco Summer day.  The man who fired the stolen gun should have been on his way to the border for deportation but because of the sanctuary city rule enforce in S.F. he had been released before Federal Agents could retrieve him.  This is a man with 7 felony convictions here in the U.S.A. and had been deported 5 times previously.  He had been in jail on a drug charge and the Fed’s had asked for the Sheriff’s Department to hold him for pick up and deportation.  Instead of following Federal law and holding the man they followed San Francisco sanctuary rules and set him free.  He had a gun he said he found that had been stolen from Park Service Officers car.  At first he told police he was shooting at Harbor Seals then after Lawyered up he changed his story, he said he found the gun under a bench on the pier and when he picked it up it fired.  The bullet ricocheted off one of the pillars and struck young Kate in the back fatally wounding her.  Her last words to her father were “help me Dad” as she died in his arms.  Had this been a citizen of this country that fired the shot we would have been charged minimally with 2^nd degree murder or at the least manslaughter.  The government and people of San Francisco have become so progressive that they feel they are not required to follow the immigration laws of the country.  The jury deliberated over 30 hours I’m sure badgering those who wanted justice until they gave in.  Far left Liberal policies to be sure are now the rule in S.F. and I feel it has become an unsafe place to visit.  Maybe if tourism slows they will realize how crazy this path they have embarked on is.  The entire government of California has now declared itself a Sanctuary State maybe we should just close the border to the real United States and let them stew in their own mess.  We don’t need to feed them anymore Government grants let them take care of their education and tax themselves into oblivion in order to survive.  They can keep the 9^th district court of appeals too.  Businesses have been fleeing California for the last several years because of the high cost of doing business, eventually the only jobs that will be available will be in the government and we know that doesn’t produce an income for the State.  I know none of this will happen but I’m just totally disgusted with the system of justice and what it has done to the Steinle’s and what it has done to our beautiful country. 

Politicians have forgotten how to think for themselves.

One can only come to the conclusion that to be a politician in today's messed up world you would have to sell your soul to your party. I really don't believe that every democrat is lock step with their leaders nor do I believe that every republican is loyal to their party yet they seem to follow that theory in their voting. What ever happened to our country, how could our politics evolve into such controlled thought. Where are the Scoop Jacksons and the Tip O'neal's hiding... their heads. They surely must be rolling in their graves at such a spectacle in our Congress. The people are just pawns in today's chess game of politics. I for one am disgusted with the process, the Elites in both parties wonder how this election went the way it did, I think they should look in the mirror and take stock of their man or womanhood. Not one of them is capable of thinking for themselves, if they were we would have non partisan voting in many of the items before the Senate and House. We might as well just have the Leaders vote and forget that we have so call representation for the people

Subject:Fwd: An article from the New York Post: There's a reason why in New York Harbor we have the Statue of Liberty,  not the Statue of Equality." �����Max�����  An article from the New York Post:  I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).  OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president's administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?  If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!  Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.  OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.  OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.   OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines..... Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."  OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.  Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, "The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."  Sperry writes that, "The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.  Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.  If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.  If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.  So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. Give a smile to a Veteran

give a smile to a Veteran;

Every year on Veterans Day many of us sit back and remember those we served with. Good times or bad these people became our brothers and sisters for life. We may not see them for years yet you can depend on the fact that their memories are entwined with your own forever. Life is full of experiences many good and just as many bad but they all make up our character-defining who we are. When I hear things like what happened in Southerland Texas and the first explanation was he was a Veteran it makes my skin crawl. I’ve heard politicians remark that Vet’s are the most likely to become anarchists and anti-government radicals because of our training and the experiences of so many that involve violence. To the contrary I say, Vet’s are the least likely to ever take up arms other than the defense of their family and friends. Of course there are always a few like the creep in Texas who are mentally unfit to serve and just like the poor gun it suddenly makes all Veterans suspect. I guaranty you a Veteran is the first one that will stop to help someone hurt in an accident or to stand with others to protest a wrong. The Veteran is the guy who lives next door and is always there when you need a friend, he’s the guy or girl that people can depend on when others fail them. To most Veterans our flag and our anthem is part of their existence they pledged their lives to defend that flag and our Constitution so when you poke the Bear by disrespecting these things you can expect the anger and backlash it creates. Give a salute to our Veterans they are the ones what gave you the right to live your lives in freedom and even when you do things like disrespecting our country and our government.

May this Veterans day be the beginning of a sea change that brings our country together, the hate needs to disappear and our American can-do spirit needs to rise up and be a positive in our lives. I don’t care if you are Black, White or Purple, Democrat, Libertarian or Republican this is your country be the one that builds on the future not the negative. God Bless America!

Why do we have to live with such hate?

When people ask why things like the Texas church shooting happens first they look for ideology, weapons or mental illness.  In my mind the reason starts with the hate that has been prevalent in our society for the last 10 years.  The Alt Left and the Alt Right breed this hatred with violent rhetoric on a daily basis.  The media and the Hollywood Left have nothing to say about Snoop Dog showing a cadaver with a Trump toe tag or the View expounding hate of Trump every day.  The division between Blacks and Whites is at an all time high with Black Lives Matter breeding concepts of hate and retribution.  The KKK and far right groups like them do the same thing.  The politicians on either side fail us daily by being incapable of compromise for the good of our country.  Lessons learned through the decades are forgotten because political correctness requires us to forget our history either good or bad.  As a child I was taught about the bad in America’s history as well as the good.  I was taught that we fought a war for our freedom from England in the 1700’s and those who fought for the new world were heroes of freedom and those who fought for the British were fighting for their country as well.  I learned we fought a Civil War to end the secession of Southern States from the union and it became a war to end Slavery in the United States.  Those who fought on the Union Side were heroes of Freedom and those who fought on the Confederate side were fighting for their States as well.  Most of those conscripted were non political and had little to do with Slavery and fought more for the sovereignty of their homeland.  I learned that many of our Founding Fathers owned Slaves something inconceivable for me to understand, I learned that Jefferson owned Slaves and took one for his mistress having several children with her.  I cannot condone the fact that he owned any Human Being or that anyone should live under those conditions but it is our countries history and should not be erased but learned from.  I learned that in the beginning we occupied lands that were those of the people we now call Native Americans and took many of these lands by force to satisfy our need for expansion and of course our greed for gold and silver.  I have often wondered at the term Native American as it seems to generalize all of their nations into one group and it does not tell the story of wars between their nations.  It also makes me wonder who the lands were held by before the Native Americans came to the area.  I guess what I’m trying to get across is that we are all in the same soup and if we cannot get it together and become one nation again one of our adversary’s will do the job for us.  Russia has been so much in the news because of the allegations against Trump and the allegations against the Clinton’s.  I really think that the bulk of the hatred and division is the result of Russia’s excellent use of the internet and through false news and innuendo keeps us against each other with the hope that they can just let us fight it out and then take over the spoils. 

An older white mans view of the country

Are we becoming a tribal nation?  The notion that America is not for every citizen is spreading across this land, but why?  For decades we have been told that we white people will have to give deference to black’s in hiring, education and housing.  What has that accomplished?  Our Nation is on the brink of a race war, friends who have been close for years are suddenly being separated by race and politics.  As a student in High School in Seattle I guess I didn’t know we were different, skin color didn’t matter a person was either a good guy or an A-Hole his or her actions made that decision for us.  When I was in the service we worked side by side in everything.  I did notice that a division was starting when in the 70’s and 80’s, blacks began to form separate and isolated friendships rather than join in the American family.  Good friends slowly drifted apart. It came with the rhetoric of the Al Sharpton’s, Jesse Jackson and others who started the victims movement and began to champion the cause of reparations for Slavery.  100% of the people at that time abhorred slavery and many fell into the trap that has made several black leaders rich beyond the norm.  People like Martin Luther King tried to bring pride and self sufficiency to the community and were succeeding in bringing home the value of education and community involvement but when he was killed several tried to take his place and led King’s march in the direction of victimhood rather than equality.  This made them very rich as they blackmailed huge corporations by threatening boycotts and bad publicity if they didn’t pay reparations. 

The government poured money into urban cities for education and assisted living all which became ghettoized and hotbeds of discontent, generations learned to take handouts rather from the government rather than experiencing the joy of successfully achieving self-sufficiency.  Crime flourished in these city’s as the birthrate went up and fatherhood disappeared from the home.  The more baby’s the more money from the government.  Single mom’s became the norm and many just gave up being mothers and became baby factories for the almighty dollar. 

The group’s BLM and the NFL players are complaining about injustice yet did nothing to try to stop crime in these city’s.  Policing an area like this became a death wish for the cops and they in turn allowed it to get worse, in self defense they cut many patrols in these communities.  It didn’t matter if it was a black cop or white they were targeted as the enemy.  I’m sure many police became dehumanized as they dealt with savage attacks on a daily basis.  A good example of the nature of things in these communities is the looting that seems to follow any excuse to riot.  New Orleans, Furguson, Baltimore are just a few examples or the lack of pride developed out of this victim mentality.

When you sit back and understand the difference in success and mentality of the many blacks who have joined the American family rather than fall for the victim, poor me ideology pushed by Sharpton and his ilk it is evident that pride and personal responsibility has been their path to success.  The thing that worry’s me the most is so many of the youth of those who have fought their way out of the ghetto are falling for the rhetoric and starting to go the route of victim rather than grow on the success of their parents.
